YOU ARE INVITED!

Parker County Republican Women would like to invite you to a candidate forum to be held at their regularly scheduled monthly meeting on February 11, 2010.  The meeting will be held at the Doss Heritage Center, 1400 Texas Drive, and will begin at 11:30.

Races featured will be county office contested positions.  This includes races for County Judge, County Commissioner Pct. 2, Justice of the Peace Pct. 2, County Commissioner Pct. 4 and Justice of the Peace Pct. 4.

Due to the large number of candidates (sixteen) for these five positions, each candidate will be given two minutes to present their platform.  Time at the end of the program will be given to “meet and greet” the candidates.

Cost for the meeting is $12 for club members and $15 for non-members.  Part of the price of each meal goes toward covering the cost of the venue.

If you have questions or would like to make reservations, please contact Rena Peden at 817-448-9969.

HOPE TO SEE YOU ON FEB. 11

Parker County Republican Women is a vibrant group, an award winning federated club organized in 1962. Realizing that the strength of any political force ultimately is dependent upon grassroots activism, we seek to educate and empower volunteers to champion Republican candidates at every level of government.

Members are actively involved as precinct chairmen, voter registrars, campaign staff personnel and fundraisers. We have members who have been elected to positions in local and state government as well as those who serve as staff members for officials at local, state and national levels.

Parker County Republican Women promote community programs, educational projects, and young Republican groups. We enthusiastically support our troops in a variety of ways, assist local charities and

contribute financially to local Republican candidates.
